On 16th of September 2015 the new intermodal terminal of CLIP Group was officially opened in Swarzedz. It was also an opportunity to celebrate the third anniversary of the existence of Rotterdam – Swarzedz intermodal railway connection. The new terminal covers 10 hectars and has an annual handling capacity of 250.000 TEU.  Up to 4.500 TEU can be stored at the terminal. The cost of this state of the art investment totalled 100 million PLN. The European Union is co-financing the new CLIP Intermodal Terminal under implementation of the provisions of the Infrastructure and Environment Operational Program, Priority VII, Activity 7.4. – Development of Intermodal Transport

Undoubtedly the biggest asset of the CLIP Intermodal Terminal is its localization. Its attractiveness is built up by the excellent localization adjacent to one of the most important transport corridors – the E20 line, which forms and integral part of the TEN T corridor North Sea – Baltic (formerly called Corridor 8) connecting Rotterdam, Antwerp, Berlin, Warsaw with the Baltic states and connects further East with transport corridors towards Moscow and further to China and other Asian countries. It is also close to the S5 national road and A2 Berlin – Warsaw motorway.
